── The rule book ──

Stock chart game difficulty & scoring, by the numbers

Nothing is hand-tuned per stock. The real volatility of the chart you pick sets the difficulty tier, and every run is scored by the table below — the same constants the engine runs on. Full controls live in How to Play.

▚ How difficulty is set

Annualized volatility of the chart you pick decides the tier — computed from the same daily closes the terrain is built from.

TierVolatility
easy0–20%
medium20–40%
hard40–70%
insane> 70%

▚ How scoring works

Tricks chain into a combo multiplier up to ×5. Crashing resets the combo and costs you points.

Course progress+1,000
Backflip / frontflip+500
Stoppie (front-wheel ride)+400
Wheelie+300
Speed demon (full throttle)+200
Big air (1.4s+ airtime)+200
Finish the chart (diamond hands)+1,000
Crash (land on your head)500

Worked example: GME on the 5-year range annualizes far above the insane cutoff — its 2021 squeeze cliff is where most first runs end. Prefer a commute to a cliff? SPY stays comfortably inside easy territory.

── How to play ──

From candlesticks to motocross in three steps

Start riding any chart in three steps — no download, no signup, no learning curve. If you can read a chart, you can crash on one.

> step_01

Pick a chart

Search any stock, ETF or crypto ticker — TSLA, GME, NVDA, BTC-USD — and choose a time range. A year of price action becomes your track.

> step_02

Ride the price action

Hold ↑ to accelerate, lean with ← and →, jump with SPACE. Rallies are ramps, corrections are cliffs, sideways chop is a washboard road.

> step_03

Don't get liquidated

Land on your head and the run ends — just like leverage. Make it from OPEN to CLOSE flag for diamond hands status, and rack up airtime and flips on the way.
