StonkRider turns a real price chart into a motocross track: every trading day becomes a segment of terrain, green for up days and red for down days. Your job is to ride from the OPEN flag to the CLOSE flag — and everything you do along the way scores points. This page covers the controls, the scoring economy, and how to survive the steep stuff.
| Input | Keyboard | Touch |
|---|---|---|
| Gas | ↑ or W | GAS button |
| Wheelie (lean back) | ← or A | ↶ lean button |
| Nose dive (lean forward) | → or D | ↷ lean button |
| Brake | ↓ or S | BRAKE button |
| Jump | Space | JUMP button |
| Nitro | Shift or N | — |
| Restart run | R | — |
| Fullscreen | F (Esc to exit) | ⛶ button |
| Mute | M | speaker button |
Lean is the key skill: on the ground, holding ← lifts the front wheel into a wheelie; in the air, ← and → control rotation — that's how flips happen. Nitro multiplies your acceleration and raises your top speed, which is the intended way up the steepest walls — but it drains a small tank (the green bar under the timer) and needs a moment to refill once emptied, so save it for the climbs that matter. There's no brake in the original chart-riding tradition — but we kept one on ↓ for riders who like surviving descents.
Distance alone won't make you rich here. Riding the full chart is worth at most 1,000 points, plus a 1,000-point finish bonus at the CLOSE flag. The real money is in tricks.
| Trick | How | Base points |
|---|---|---|
| Flip | full rotation in the air | 500 per rotation |
| Stoppie | front wheel only, 1.2s+ | 400 |
| Wheelie | rear wheel only, 1s+ | 300 |
| Speed Demon | hold near top speed for 5s | 200 |
| Big Air | 1.4s+ of airtime | 200 (flat) |
Every trick (except Big Air) raises your combo multiplier, up to ×5 — so a flip at full combo pays 2,500 points. Crashing costs 500 points and resets the combo to ×1, then respawns you just behind the crash site. The run keeps going; the crash counter remembers.
Stars depend on your score and the track's difficulty — harder charts have lower thresholds. An 8,000-point run on an insane-tier meme stock is a five-star ride; the same score on the SPY highway is three stars. Difficulty isn't editorial: it's computed from the chart's real annualized volatility.
←/→.StonkRider is an unblocked browser game in the most literal sense: there is nothing to download, nothing to install, and no game-platform domain for a network filter to flag. It's a regular web page with a canvas element — if this site loads, the game runs. Chart data comes from this site's own servers, so there are no third-party game-service requests to block either, and it works in every modern browser on desktop, Chromebook, tablet or phone.
It also uses real market data and the occasional finance joke, so at a glance it looks like you're studying charts. We make no further claims. Ride responsibly — and if you're supposed to be in class, the market will still be open afterwards.
The SPY track is the designated beginner highway. When it feels slow, browse the track library on the homepage and work your way toward the meme cliffs. Good luck with the GME squeeze — you'll need it.
